About Turkey Rocks:
| Some of the best trad in the state can be found in this area but be forewarned that tape is must have item....well unless you like climbing bloody cracks. Located at an elevation of 8,000 feet it manages to stay rather cool in the fall making for perfect conditions....Possibly climbable in the winter if you can get in on the road with out a ATV or snowmoblie. |

| Directions: | Follow the directions for "The Sheeps Nose" until you reach the pullout for "The Sheeps Nose". Follow County Road 360 for about 2 more miles until you reach a turn off for "Turkey Rocks Campground" take it and follow it to the campground. From here walk south west for aproxamatly 15 minutes to the crags. |
