About Gypsum Gap Boulders:

Outstanding climbing on very high quality sandstone. Thin faces and slabs, pocketed overhangs, hard top outs. The bouldering in this area in limitless. You can see boulder fields with the same quality rock for miles. Endless first ascents. Newly discovered in the Fall of 2006.
Nearest town or city: Naturita (or Dove Creek)
Directions: Take Highway 141 to just west of mile marker 33 and turn onto an obscure dirt road north of the highway. This road can be hard to find as there are no distinctive markers. Once you've stumbled onto this road, drive a short distance past a gate and a small pond to a large parking area next to a lone juniper. Hike up the obvious slabs to the boulders. You will not be able to see the boulders from the road.
