About Ilium Valley:
| Best bouldering outside of Telluride, less that a 1/2 hour from town. Easiest to just get directions to the area from local shops, but it's on Ilium Rd. past the county jail. Granite boulders, not a huge amount of problems and nothing really hard (yet), but a lot of fun, high-altitude bouldering. |
| Nearest town or city: | Telluride |
| Directions: | Drive 1.6 miles from the junction of Hwy. 145 & Ilium Road past a large boulder (the Road Boulder) to a pullout on the right side of the road. Follow either of the two obvious paths running through the meadow. |
