About The Dike:

The dike is a cool volcanic formation that rises up to about 85 feet. It looks like a massive brick wall. There are very few specific routes but rather a variety of ways to work up to the top. Basically you can make the climbing as hard or as easy as you like which makes it an ok place to spend an afternoon.
Nearest town or city: Ridgway
Directions: Leave Ridgway heading south on hwy 550. After passing a subdivision called piedemont hills on your left, count the dirt roads that are on the left. You'll pass 2, then turn left on the 3rd one. Follow the road back until it ends, park and follow the trail. Total distance is about 2.8 miles from Ridgway to the dike.
