Description:

Dark side. If hiking from the Bank parking lot pass under the large block and keep hiking look for another large block that leans against the cliff at a nice little right-facing alcove. This route is right of the leaning block.

2 out of 5 stars Thumbs down

There are two routes in this area. One is called Missing hangers, the other is this one Hangers Regained. Missing Hangers follows the face, and is not a 5.10a which is in one of the guide books. Its more like 10c 10d at least. The face is thin and hard. Now if you climb the arete, or crack it makes this climb a bit easier. The crack (chimney) I believe is what Hangers regained is supposed to be. So most who do Missing Hnagers end up jumping back and forth between the arete and crack which makes this climb suck. Also theres a lot of loose, dangerous rock. The top left of the route is dirty, and loose as well. Thumbs down!!

5 out of 5 stars good fun, i think

If this is the climb i think it was, I loved it. One of my favorites ever. It's on the part of the wall that the huge broken off slab is leaning against. Follows the face straight up using holds on the face and in the crack to the right. Extensive approach, but worth it.

I didn't think it was as fun as it looks. Just use the crack. Strenuous.
