About Prisoner of your Hairdo gully:

Facing the canyon on the north rim, this one is about 1/3 mile left of the cruise gully. It contains the superb Atlantis, the new route No Country for Old Men, Lost Cities and others.
Approach: Driving into the North Rim, several hundred yards before the ranger station, there is a T. A right turn leads to the campground and ranger station. To approach the Prisoner of Your Hairdo Gully, turn left and either park at the first pullout, or continue on to the next overlook, about 1/2 mile, and park there. From the first pullout after the left turn, the gully is several hundred yards further left up the road, and then straight out toward the canyon. The gully is very steep and loose, but does not require any rappels to reach the river.
