About The Painted wall:

The painted wall is the tallest cliff in Colorado. It stands approximatly 2200' feet high and is home to a wide variety of climbing. From hard aid lines to truly scary free routes, the painted wall is a daunting piece of rock. Approach down the SOB gully then head down river. The "descent" is a trail that heads back to the ranger station, pick it up a half mile back from the rim.
