This route climbs the west side of Grand View Spire. It may be the shortest desert tower approach ever. Rappell in from the rim by tying off the trees. I also placed a cam. Bring a chunk of rope to tie this anchor together. One 60 meter rope will get you to the notch between the spire and the rimrock. Start up an easy 5.0 ramp heading towards three bolts, visible from the ground. Aid these bolts, then climb up a corner via a thin scarred crack C2. Above this crack, climb up then belay on a ledge with two drilled angles. Make sure to have some webbing to equalize this belay with, the angles are far apart. Better yet, bring a handrill and slam in two stonker rawls by the upper angle. Second Pitch: climb up and right 5.6, then climb a flake C1 to a drilled angle. From here, traverse right and up to a large ledge, and set a pro-gear belay. Third Pitch: Climb up the off-width 5.8ish or C1 to the summit. Descend either by a double rope rappell back into the notch, or drag the rope attached to the rimrock with you up the route, and tyrolean. This is a fun tyrolean, but not as fun as the Lost Arrow.
