The first pitch was aid for me, number 4.5 to number 1, and where a knife blade was required, I did not have one...

You can find a route description of this climb in desert rock 6...i believe. it is a bit of a hike into colorado national monument. The climb is straight forward, the first pitch is aid, unless your a 5.12 climber, easy aid. Over hanging offwidth. Cams until the last 15 feet or so, when the pro runs out. I stemmed the last 15 feet of the first pitch in my hiking boots. The second pitch is a bolt ladder that leads to a 5.7 free pitch. I was stoked when I managed to get that in my hiking boots!!! A really cool summit, small and scenic. The rock is shit for the most part at the top, be carefull. That one good placement will not hold.

Descent Options:

take a bolt kit, this anchor is solid, but i don't know how much longer that will last.
