About The Slab Area:

The major area with several great climbs. All slabs most with anchors, but not all. Many are bolted, all are easily top-roped. 60m rope recommended, although most are possible with some really long slings.
Approach: Follow the instructions on the Currahee Mountain main page to get to the top of the main face, then follow the obvious gulley to get to the bottom. The gulley contains some pretty rough class three terrain. The climb down is strenuous. It would be good for someone to attach a bit of static rope to the top of the gulley to help others get down safely.
Approach Time: 5 min
Latitude, Longitude: 34.52895, -83.37592
Access Issues:
Rock Type: Granite
Type of Climbing: Sport/Trad
Sun Aspect: All Day Sun
