About Providence Park:
| Providence Park is essentially a huge sink hole, approximately 50 feet deep. It is located off of Providence Road in Alpharetta...a northern suburb of Atlanta. There is easy top roping and some of the routes are 5.11+. None of them are named. However, in order to climb at Providence Park you must get permission form the local Park Rangers. The cliff is completely fenced off and if you go after the open hours of the Park then you must jump it. The potential for development is pretty good even though much of the cliff is covered in kuczu and other plants. |

| Directions: | From Atlanta, go north on Ga 400 and get off at Mansell Road. Turn left off of the exit and take that road, Mansell Road, for 2 miles until it dead ends. Turn left and then make an immediate right hand turn onto Alpharetta hwy, aka Hwy 9. Take Hwy 9 for approximately 1 mile and turn left onto Mayfield Road. This road will fork, go right at the fork, this is Providence Road. The Park is on your right, look for the sign. Park your car in front of the Rangers office, the cliff is located behind the fence on the right side of the road. |
