This route is awesome. It is a little dangerous though. When you reach Camp Cove you will notice a few jagged ledges about 10 or 15 feet off of the ground with some water seeping under the ledges and alot of moss under it. It is really the only wet spot on the whole cove. This is the spot. This is a great top rope climb, but to do it properly you must have two 15' sections of webbing that will create the middle point for you to belay from. This ascent begins just to the right of the ledges and works left. Once you have worked up to the first ledge reach out and hang on it. After that you will need to get a good heel lock on a small ledge just to the left. From that position you will need to bump up with your left hand to the next ledge and work yourself up from there. This is a challenging route for the beginner and novice, but it is one of the greatest at the Gap. We have cleaned the route and you might even find us climbing there because it is one of our favorite short day climbs. This is just one of the good routes at Woody. Good luck and enjoy.
