About Lucky peak canyon (black cliffs):
| just east of boise on hwy 21. most of the routes are on the N. side of the river. a few advanced routes on the S. side. many routes to top rope or lead. beginner to expert. all N. side routes completely accessible to public. walking time approx 5 minutes from parking. (Yearly closures from Jan. to May effect portions of the area due to birds of prey that nest along the cliffs. Call any Boise outdoor type store for details, or see the Boise Climbers Alliance web page for postings.) |
