About Pinched Loaf Rock East Side:

This is one of those formations that has been given a bunch of different names by various people. It also depends on where exactly around the formation you are. The east side of the main portion of the formation started getting called the Provo Wall in the late 1980s because some new routes were being done by climbers from Provo, UT. The north end of this formation is somewhat seperated from the larger portion of the formation and was distinctly known as Pinched Loaf Rock in the 1970s. The east side of this portion was called Super Hits Wall in the early 1980s.
