Description:

Right side of Barrett's Cove, starts on top of a blocky buttress with a 4th class scramble to a large ledge. The start on the right side of the upper ledge and is across from a tree. It goes up a blocky section to a groove that is about seven feet off the ground. Climb straight up, past two bolts enroute, and protect the crux near the top with nice gear options in a horizontal crack. Gear is tough to find if you don't know what you're looking for, but straight up pretty much is the best way to go because that makes gear finding easier.

Descent Options:

Requires two 60m ropes to rap down this route. Otherwise, walk left a ways to the top of other routes where a 70m rope will work or a 60m will when combined with an unnerving downclimb of about six feet.

4 out of 5 stars Wet smear

Fun route to run laps on TR solo or to lead. Feels right for the grade with definite "R" sections. A fall would not be pleasant.
