About East Point Sanctuary:
| Located at Biddeford Pool, East Point offers an oceanside trail that meanders through forest and grass. It is a bird sanctuary and is thus a popular spot for bird watchers. There are several boulders here at the high tide line that offer a few problems. This area is definately not a destination area but does offer something for those in the Biddeford/Saco area who need to climb. |

| Directions: | Take 95 to the Biddeford exit. Turn left off the exit onto Route 111. Follow 111 around 3 miles (crossing Route 1) to Route 208 (also route 9). Follow 208 a good 5 miles to Biddeford Pool and the end of the road. You should see a golf course on the left. Park near the end of the road and look for a nice graded trail that heads down to the ocean. Walk north along the rocks and you will find the boulders. |
