About Purple Horse:

Purple Horse is a set of small outcrops located approx 100 yards downstream from Spitzbergen and across the river from the downstream end of Echo Rock. The Billy Goat trail passes in front of the roof climbs and provides easy access.
Approach: From the Old Angler's parking area take the Billy Goat trail and follow it for about 25 mins. You will know when you are about there when you have to go around a small pool. To gain access to the top hit the river and go downstream for about 30 feet and climb the 4th class gully around the corner.
