The Wishing Boulder
About The Wishing Boulder:
| If all the roofs I have found wandering around the Reservoir were like this the place would be a destination. One of the few roofs that is large and has some holds without having some stupid skirt on it or too low or too juggy. Maybe some potential for a direct SDS to Mordor Stand if you are looking for some V14 or so action. The overly mossy lip on the left side of the boulder is not for use. |
| Approach: | From the Drowning Boulder just walk a touch beyond it and on your right you will see a roof up on the hill and atop of and back from a random 5.0 slab. If you are heading straight there it is faster to take the upper fork in the trail and head up to and past the Moss Boulder. |
