Description:

A neat route that climbs the inside corner system 20' right of Cliff Monster. Layback the crack in the corner, then work your way up rounded ledges, aiming for the large, detached block above. Chimney behind the block a few moves, then aim left up the left-facing overhanging segment to the broad notch at the top, putting you on a large ledge with bushes. A variant start climbs the outside arete of the corner (5.7-ish) to a ramp, after which you maneuver to rejoin the main route. Many other variations exist by climbing pretty much anywhere up the face. Anchors are gear placements. Placeholder name, from when someone climbed it and stuck his head in the small thorn bush part way up the first half of the climb.

Followed Denny; after cleaning the last piece, I angled up & left on good hand jams toward the anchors set above Cliff Monster.

0 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

This was listed as a 5.6, but I think it was much harder. (I seconded, I don't think I would have lead it. Seemed hard to place gear).
