The La Vida Rock Gym at Gordon College is open to individuals of all abilities
and ages. To belay, one must have attended the Belaying Competency Class and passed the Belay Test. (sign ups for belay training are at the front desk of the Bennett Center.) Children under 14 are not allowed to belay and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who has fulfilled the requirements
stated above.
The rock gym consists of a 8' by 30' bouldering wall, 25' high walls, 6 rope
climbs, and a roof section. New walls coming soon!!! We have routes that range from easy to hard: 5.5 - 5.12. These routes are occasionally modified. Hours: Fall and Spring Semesters: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 - 9:00 PM Summer: Wednesday, 6:00 - 8:30 PM Rates: Belay Class: $10.00/person Day Pass: Gordon Students/Alumni/Faculty and Staff - $5.00 GCTS- $7.50 General Public- $10.00 Semester/Summer Membership: Gordon Students ans Alumni/Faculty, staff and their families - $35.00 Gordon Theological Semenary affiliates - $55.00 General Public- $75.00 Family Pass are now available, please ask for rates. Shoe rentals are $1 |
