About Jenkins Boulder:

Jenkins Boulder is a house-sized boulder with a number of short routes and boulder problems. The rock is a coarse granite that makes for good slopers and smears. There are also plenty of features (cracks, edges, knobs) that make the climbing interesting and diverse. There are both powerful overhanging routes, thin slabs, and easy cracks on this one boulder. Worth checking out, but not a destination in and of itself.
Approach: Park on the W side of Jenkins Rd. by a stone wall about 1/3 mile from Salem St. Walk down the road for 25 yds. and there will be a trail. Follow the trail for 150 yds. around an eroded pit to the very obvious boulder. Can't miss this one, folks.
