5 out of 5 stars First ascent

We planned this route and put it up one summer day in 03. It’s been climbed repeatedly with great satisfaction. The direct variation brought my best whipper. I had climbed it before but this time I climbed the left trending finger crack and took numerous falls on the small cam. Everything held fine until that last fall, when the cam blew out of the rock and I took a 17 footer almost to the deck! I was held by the next bolt but was upside down and beaten up. It was awesome.
