About Enger Pond:

This location is found just north of Enger Tower on Piedmont Drive, where two ponds have been formed using a dam. Park past the ponds, then walk bak and under the easternmost dam. The ice forms from runoff over the dam, and from a drainage tube. You can find some really unusal ice features here, to include a sweet hollow pillar from the drainage tube.
