About Wolf Lake Set:

Formerly known as the "Johnson Lake Set" (in Superior Climbs), it is renamed to fit with the current property owners. The cliff may seem to be a short hike around the lake from the "Lake Study Area" but is more like a swim through flora, fauna, and talus to reach the base. Stay close to shore until you reach the narrow section of the lake, then try to find the cliff through the trees. The approach gully passes to the right of the main cliff and is steep but passable. If you find yourself lunging up collapsing dirt gullies, you're in the wrong spot. A different approach would be to climb up and left of Mystical Mountain, go over the ridgetop and find a faint trail above the cliffs. Be aware that there is a falcon nesting box on the cliff and the Wolf Ridge staff will inform you if its occupied and the cliff is closed. (Portions of this description taken from the Falcon Guide)
