Granite boulders in the heart of the Batholith, on the continental divide. The place to go when you've had too much Whiskey.
Nearest town or city: Butte
Directions: Exit 233, go south on FS 240 3 miles, drive left up the hill just before Homestake lodge, in other words drive up the logging road at the top of the hill; which is before the first building that you see, don't go past the lodge.
