Wet Rappel
60m tandem rappel in the water with a visiting buddy from NC. Really cold water. We wore swim goggles, a helmet is essential due to the force of the water beating down on you, and a chest harness clipped into the rope keeps you from flipping over backwards as you back off into the main stream on top. also there is a whole lot of algae in the rock that rubs off on you during the rappel leaving you with big green streaks of slime all over your body. lmao.
