A 9,125 ft. peak off of the Logan Pass lodge, approx. a 5 hour roundtrip summit. Follow main trail, and then follow carins up the goat trail on the backside of the mountain. Prepare for lots of scree. Link to peak description: Reynolds Mountain at SP

Routefinding was interesting as I didn't go all the way to the back of the mountain, instead I cut up a 3rd class scree gulley after passing the first shoulder. I did some random traversing, but managed to find a route up through the 4th class above the giant scree field. I later learned that the person to summit after I did fell on the descent and perished, a powerful reminder that even on 4th class you have to be careful, especially on the way back down.
