About Interstate rest area:

This is a small Rock about 30 miles west of Missoula on I-90. Climbers coming from Missoula will want to drive past the area, turn around at exit 70 and stop at the parking area eastbound. I found 7 bolted routes on the north end. Most between 5.10 and 5.13. One 5.7/5.8 on the northeast side is easily toproped by hiking around or lead easily due to good bolting. The slabs on the southwest end offer 5.6 climbing at best with few routes and little room for trad gear. A good place to stop once.
Nearest town or city: Frenchtown
Directions: Not a Rest Stop. Just a parking turnout at the Mile marker 73 eastbound on I-90. Turn around at Cyr exit 70 for climbers coming from missoula. A short walk down towards the river leads you to the obvious climbing area. the Slabs are on the southwest end of the rock.
