About Gallatin Canyon:

| Directions: | From Bozeman @ four corners take US 191 about 25 miles up into the Gallatin Canyon towards Big Sky. There is a pull out under the formation on the right (Gallatin Tower) but the formations on the opposite side of the river needs to be approached from the pullout after the bridge and across the river from the Lava Lake trailhead. Cross the road and follow the obvious climbers' trail. |
