About Kootenai Canyon:
| You can climb here anytime. One thing that is important is access. When you get to the traihead you will see what I mean. Just stay on the trail until you reach the 1st butress on the right. The canyon has a variety of routes, everything from the sport routes, to the trad routes. If you really want explore further up the canyon about 1 mile you can leave the trails and climb some bigger stuff. |

| Directions: | If you are coming from Missoula go South on Highway 93 for about 30 miles, and on the right will be North Kootani Road. Take that road for about 2 miles and park somewhere at the trailhead, there's lots of room, and the trail is obvious. |
