The Diamond
About The Diamond:
From the Guide: "The Diamond is a 90' high crag of bedded quartzite rising from the top of a talus slope on the south bank of Lehman Creek between Upper and Lower Lehman Creek Campgrounds. The routes are usually led. It is a good place to get a feel for the sort of rock found on routes in the Wheeler Peak Cirque. The crag is usually free from snow May through October and stays pleasantly cool on hot summer days. Approach time: 15 min" |
