Description:

Start about 30 feet right of Scalawag. Face climb up a slabby face following thin crack system. Good hand jamming. Two ropes for rapping or walk off to the east. If you choose to rappel, just past the roof system, traverse left for about 20 feet to a strap with 2 rappel rings.

4 out of 5 stars 110 Day in Las Vegas Valley,but pleasant early evening weather @ Moderate Mecca

This cliff gets shade in late afternoon, making for a pleasant warm weather venue ( but is a bit breezy, sometimes.) However, this location is like a hot skillet on summer mornings, and is best avoided when the sun is shining on it (unless it's wintertime.) Led the first pitch w/Sonny.This route could easily be led with all passive gear. Is very nice for practicing nut placements, as there are good solid stances. Fun and non-stressful crack and face climbing, with a non-intimidating overhang.
