Everyone who has ever done Lotta Balls has noticed this line- the obvious crack systems on the east face of the Lotta Balls wall. On the left side of the Lotta Balls wall is a huge, 400' fin that sticks out prominently from the wall. This route ascends this fin, starting on the east face. Start about 100' left of Lotta Balls, at the base of an obvious hand crack at the bottom of the east face of the fin. Pitch 1: Climb the crack to a good ledge. 5.10c/d, 180' Pitch 2: Traverse right to gain the north face of the fin (the ridgeline), and ascend this to a bolted anchor on top of the fin (the top of Trihardral). 5.9, 190' Pitch 3: Head up and right, eventually gaining the last 50-100' of Lotta Balls.

Descent Options:

Descend as per Lotta Balls.

4 out of 5 stars Spectacular!

Amazing route. The first pitch is the money pitch- 180' of 5.10 leads to a sweet ledge, and then you traverse right to gain the 10' wide ridge of a 200' long fin! The position makes this pitch memorable, and the climbing isnt bad either! The route is still new enough that some rock will come off, but nothing essential and it wont take long for it to be a classic for the area!
