About First Pullout:

The first pullout is primarily a sport climbing destination, although the occasional trad climb can be found here. Although the second pullout usually gets all the glory, there is still plenty of great climbing to be found here.
Access: This pullout can also be accessed from the Red Springs in Calico Basin by taking the trail around the front of the outcropping. When to climb: Everything in this area is west facing, making this an excellent morning destination in warm weather, and a great afternoon destination in cool weather.
