Frigid Air Buttress
About Frigid Air Buttress:
|
Description: As you enter the canyon proper, the first thing you notice is a giant buttress ahead of you and slightly left of the trail. The massive walls form a second, smaller mouth of the canyon, with its left side moving south to merge with the other wall of the canyon. This is the Frigid Aid Buttress, home of some amazing multipitch lines.
Approach: Follow the main trail into the canyon until you are about even with the orange cliffs on your right. At this point, head left and drop into the wash on a relatively well marked climbers trail. This trail will cross the wash and head south, eventually popping out at the base of Frigid Air Buttress. Burlesque is up and far left, Linda's Crack is to your right. Beta/Updates: |
