Description:

A new line up the Magic Triangle, this route is named for its deceptive nature. Start about 100' left of Midnight Oil on a nice looking face that leads up to a left facing corner. Follow this up for a few pitches until you are at the base of the triangular headwall. From here, start up the left hand side of the formation on a tricky slab to gain a left-slanting crack visible from the ground. Follow this for two pleasant and suprisingly easy pitches to the top. From here, 4 single rope rappels (or 2 double rope rappels) get you to the base of the original Magic Triangle route (about 250' left of where you started). FA: Larry DeAngelo, George Urioste and friends.
