Description:

Mike & I bolted 3 new routes on the far left side of the Hunter S. Thompson Dome. This is the leftmost route and, at the time, we felt it was 5.10a. The holds are smaller and more solid that the next 2 routes to the right. After a steep start the angle eases to the belay.

Descent Options:

Lower off - chain anchors

3 out of 5 stars First Red Rock Send.

We intended to climb "Crazy Eights" first, but got on this one by mistake. (I thought Chrome Dome would be further around; you can see this route in the photo in the Handren guide but it is not marked for some reason.)

I give it a PG13 due to the exposure of the approach and the belay.

8 bolts; 2 chain anchors.
