About Cathedral Ledge:

Cathedral is New Hampshire's best trad climbing destination. Here you can enjoy a wide variety of climbing, from 5.6 classics like Thin Air and Upper Refuse, to gnarly hard routes like the Prow and the Bridge of Khazad-dum, to some of the best aid routes like the Mordor Wall (A3). Be forwarned if you are coming from out west that the ratings may seem a little bit stiff, and be especially wary of anything rated 5.9+.

CAUTION: Due to the recent(2003) bolting wars, the existence of all fixed anchors and protection should be verified prior to your climb. No guidebook will have up to date info about these bolts and/or pins. Check beforehand at IME, EMS, or Ragged Mtn. Equipment if you are concerned about pre-existing protection on your intended climb!!!
