The Wonder Wall
About The Wonder Wall:
The central section of the South Buttress is home to some excellent, high angle face climbing. While the lower half is broken by ledge systems separated by steep walls, the upper wall is a sweeping expanse of brown granite with perfect position and loads of exposure. Classics are The Last Unicorn, Science Friction Wall, and Wonder Wall. Routes are listed from right to left, as seen from the approach trail, starting with the lower climbs along the base, then on the upper wall. |
