Daniels (Indoor Gym)
About Daniels:
| This is a great gym at Dartmouth College in Hanover. It is open to anyone affiliated with Dartmouth, plus members of the public who have Dartmouth Outing Club memberships. There are ropes for belaying and learning how to belay, but almost all the routes are boulder problems. It is not the best place for beginners, because there will only be two or three problems that they can do. The majority of the problems are intermediate / advanced, with a wide variety of moves on the many different walls (overhanging, slab, cave, vertical, etc.) |

| Directions: | From the green, take a right on the road to the west of Baker Library, and then a left onto Tuck Drive. Bear left at the Thayer Engineering School and park in its lot. Keep walking down the road toward some dorms, and on the left you will see signs for the Daniels Climbing Gym and the Max Kade German Center. Follow this path, and the gym is straight ahead. |
