About Mt. Moosilauke:
|Mt. Moosilauke is more well-known for its hiking than for its climbing, however climbing possibilites do exist, as they do on most mountains.|
|Nearest town or city:||Warren|
|Directions:||From Hanover: Take I-91 North to Exit 15. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp, then left onto VT Rt. 5 North. Turn right at the bridge, then right again onto NH Rt. 10 South. Turn left onto NH Rt. 25A East. Turn left onto NH Rt. 25 North, then right on NH Rt. 118. After 5.8 miles, turn left onto Ravine Road and follow it until it ends. Do not park in the bus turn-around.
From Boston: Take I-93 North. You will be on this road for more than 2 hours. Follow I-93 to exit 32, North Woodstock. Take exit. After the exit ramp you will turn right onto 112/118 West. Go through North Woodstock. Follow this road for maybe 3 miles until 118 and 112 diverge. Go left onto 118 (Be careful, it is easy to miss!!!) up 7.2 miles. You will crest the hill and start heading down. Look for Ravine Road on the right. Turn right onto Ravine Road and follow it until it ends. Do not park in the bus turn-around.
