I recently found a decent sized boulder field about 10 minutes from buffalo road. The land is very secretive right now while I research the rumney land deeds, but I promise I will have good maps and directions to the area around september october of 2006. This area is relatively easy to get to but just in case, I will include gps coordinates. There's much work to be done as it stands, but many problems virtually undiscovered. With the help of my side kick Annette Davis, we should put a huge dent in the brush clearing and moss/lichen removal within the next month or so.
I found more boulders on 10/2. I went to the main boulders On Sunday to begin the small clean up of the area. I bushwacked a little further, and found a new area twice the size of the original. Not many high ball routes, but there are very difficult problems in the area. The rock texture is excelent and completely untouched. I'll probably give info sooner than I thought, the place is way too big to clean between the two of us. I'm pretty sure the rock is either Schist, or Gneiss
