A Typical Gap Route
Dirty, loose, and not as well protected as some would like; however, still a good time

nice finish!
lead an easy two part crack system behind large oaks to two nice trees for the first pitch. then out left under a boulder(ish) face to a left facing seam/crack, and up to the tree at the top out of the chimney for pitch two.
def not a 5.4...more like a solid 5.5 or a light 5.6.
climbed it all on a set of nuts and two 50m ropes to help with the rope drag.

Trapdoor Chimney
the bottom of the route was so so, especially with the vegetation, but it gets better and the chimney was a lot of fun. A couple of moves seemed harder than 5.5 though.

skeeetch
the beginning we did was easy but poorly protected. TONS of LARGE loose blocks throughout the chimney, gotta be choosey with hands and feet. also traversed in from the left - felt stiff 6ish. my verdict -TR it unless you enjoy some harry chimney action. nice slings above on big ol tree. rapped perfect with a 60m.

Ascent Note
From the belay ledge, move right and up into the chimney. We actually moved left under the overhang and traversed right to the chimney which made it a harder variation (5.7) with sketchy pro. Definitely rappel from the class 4 route to the right!
