About Bosom Desert Bouldering:
| Mentmore has two establiahed sport climbing areas, and a great range of warmup bouldering nearby, the best spot in my opinion is to the east of the parking area with the bulletin board. I call it bosom desert. Lots of v0-v1 climbs around by the hundreds to be developed but I tried to find some fun exciting dynamic climbs. Take into consideration I am a first year climber but i got other people on most of the climbs fairly strong i guess with no ascents!... but i tried to base my ratings fairly on the best beta and smoothness. I did, but i dont suggest topping out without double pads and a friend. All cruxes are below 3/4 the way up. Enjoy some epic boulder problems, courtesy Andrew.Zero |
