I did this route back in July 2008 while visiting Santa Fe for the Los Alamos Cosmology Conference - not sure exactly which day. I don't think the route was up on RC.com at the time. Its a great route, long (I used a 70m rope to lead and be lowered off - 60m might not do it), sustained (I recall multiple cruxes) and takes lots of draws (I didn't know how many draws it required, so took all I had and cannibalized at every opportunity, and barely had enough then). I wish I remembered how many draws I used - but 14 seems too small. Anyway, the route name and grade engraved on a rock at the base is a great idea - wish more routes did that. I hope to be back in the area July 2010 and go for the redpoint.
