About The Tunnel:

Open sun up to sun down. No camping at the base or around the walls, but camping is available in the Lincoln National Forest. Currently FREE to visit. Two walls about 60-100 feet tall. The "Shady Side" is used until the rock gets too cold, then they switch to the "Sunny Side" during the winter. The "Shady Side" has a better variety and quality of routes. The "Sunny Side" has several good routes on it. They are longer and more difficult. The wall is actually over a decade old. Several climbers put routes up out here, but the most common is John, yes simply John. Most folks use a stick clip for the first bolt. - rrradam
Nearest town or city: Alamogordo
Directions: If I told you I would have to kill you. I'm just telling you all. If your really climbers true to heart. And really want to find this wall. It's not hard. Ask locals in town. Or others. Sorry, I'm not going to be the one to spill the beans, but I can tell you it's all worth it. ---rrradam

Take I-70 to Alamogordo and then take Highway 82 to Cloudcroft. Right before the tunnel, there's a small parking area on the right. The climbs are on the obvious cliff above the road. This is called the Shady Side. There are also some climbs on the other side of the freeway, which is the Sunny Side. --- Escale (I don't have a prob with the directions.)
