Description:

This is a beautiful, multitiered (perhaps 7?) flow with sections ranging from WI2+ to WI4. There are numerous side flows on the way up (more near the top) and variations ranging, I'm sure, as hard as you'd like 'em. There's also some mixed variations. For the approach, consult "An Ice Climber's Guide to the Catskill Mountains" by Marty Molitoris.

4 out of 5 stars -

Not really an ascent we top roped the vertical pitches that were pretty sketchy and melting.

3 out of 5 stars Worth the hike up

Climbed with Gunkiemike. Ice was pretty airy and chandeliered, but wicked fun! Followed my hardest climb to date - 4th pitch, with a steady rain of water on my left arm and head.
