About Central Park:

Central Park has several excellent and very popular bouldering areas. Rat Rock is by far the most popular and has hundreds of routes if you consider all of the eliminates - there will often be more than a dozen climbers here on a nice day. Cat Rock, the Ramble, and a cluster of boulders at the north end of the park have good bouldering as well. For more info and a guide go to ClimbNYC.com
Nearest town or city: New York City
Directions: Rat Rock and Cat Rock are in the SW corner of the park near the 59th Street Columbus Circle station, which many trains serve. Boulders on the north end of the park are also on the west side around 100th street.
