Fort Tryon park has great uncrowded bouldering with many potential first ascents right on Manhattan Island. There are many problems on boulders right next to the bike paths, and there are boulders hidden in the woods that take a little bushwhcking to reach.
Nearest town or city: New York City
Directions: Take the A train to 190th Street. Fort Tryon park is along the Hudson River. Most of the boulders are on the trail overlooking the river north of the Cloisters.
