very slabby technical climb
Thin hands and thin feet. Sure glad I wasn't leading this. This is a serious climb below the bolt, getting to the bolt. Crux is protected by the bolt, but, it's pretty far below and to your left. My leader managed to get a c3 in the grove to the left of the hang. Looked pretty bomber to me. Technical climbing. Very R rated.

Unusual climbing for the 'Gunks. Some people say they get small wires above the bolt, but I didn't see any place for decent gear, and I was looking very diligently. The upper pitch(es) are not worth doing.

R Gear!!! Run out!
Dont let the bolt or Swain's guide fool you. There is very poor gear above the bolt through the left facing ramp no mater how competent you are. Beware this is a real footwork dependent Slab climb.
